MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Lifetime, Annual, and Junior Members are entitled to register Beefalo Cattle at the current member fees. Lifetime and Annual Members are entitled to vote and hold any elected office. Junior Members are not entitled to vote and cannot hold an elected office.

Associate Membership is for people who are interested in the breed and which to receive all official correspondence from the American Beefalo Association office. Associate Members do not have voting privileges and cannot hold an elected office. Associate Members may register Beefalo cattle but will be charged a non-member fee.

Active Members, through their Board of Directors and participation, control the Association and its operation. All Board Members are elected by the Active General Membership.

To be considered an Active Lifetime Member of the American Beefalo Association, you must register and/or transfer at least two (2) Beefalo Cattle within a two (2) year period. Failure to meet this requirement will place a Lifetime Member on Inactive Status. This means that the Inactive Lifetime Member will be removed from the mailing list and the right to vote will be withheld. However, upon registering or transferring the required two (2) Beefalo Cattle their status will be returned to active.

Applicant acknowledges that the Board of Directors may refuse application for membership for any reason deemed sufficient by them.
